The 4-H Club of Cape May County

has a program training seeing eye dogs. The 4-H has 29 German Shepherd puppies that they will place in responsible homes for a year of basid training. They want these puppies.exposed,to people, sounds and distractions that the dogs may face when they will eventually placed in the home of a blind person. A member of the Animal Welfare Society asked what happens when the dogs are taken back at the end of the year from a private home? The dog is replaced immediately by another puppy so the pain of losing the pet will not be so severe. People who are interested in training these puppies

contact the 4-H Club Dennisville Rd. Children in households should be 12 years of age or older so that puppies will receive tender loving care in. their year of basic training. Animal Welfare Society of C.M.C. would like to commend three wonderful human beings. Joseph Simpkins, a CMCH fireman, for taking the time to

rescue and give oxygen to a dog trapped in a recent fire. The Kozak family for taking in the abandoned, pregnant dog that was trying to exist and looking for food at McDonalds.
