Health Care Study
A independent study of the Health Services offered by physicians and the govimmentis being conducted in Cape May County and you can help. The study is being done by the Holmes Research Foundation, Box 291, Avalon,* New Jersey. Holmes Research Foundation is attempting to find the soiutio to the high cost of health care without the intervention of government agencies. Dr. John Watson, who is conducting the research, is a director of the Research Foundation. Watson explains, “The cost of Health Care is too high f6r the average citizen. In many cases the care received is poor. And government involvement will not help the situation.”

The Holmes Research Foundation is noted for its unbiased reporting and national survey results. “We are able to study a problem and come up with needed solutions because we depend on the public opinion on the issue.” The Holmes Research Foundation needs your help. flh* Brralb A REAL SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY A surprise birthday party was given to Bill Sherman of Court House, on Saturday night. It was a surprise because Mr. Sherman’s birthday was on last Dec. 14th, but at that time he was in Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. So his devoted wife conspired with some loyal friends tq make it a belated birthday party. Ms. Betty Dun das was Chief Chef (or should it be Chefette), aided by Dorothy german. Dot Evans and Wendy Moore. \ After a sumptous meal, a parlor game was enjoyed testing knowledge of vocabulary. Then It was community singing with Judte Ressner at the piano. In attendance were Aileen Conner, Betty Dundas, Wendy Moore, Dot and Maurice Evans, Bill "The Rev" Reasner and Judie, and Dorothy and Bill Sherman. What surprise can February hold? Adopt A Pet 2 year old Husky. 5 week old puppies. 6 week old kittens. Also a variety of mixed breed puppies plus many matured animals all looking for loving homes. S.H. SENIORS PLAN TRIP TO RESORTS Committee chairlady for Trips, Mrs. Ruth Fisher, announced she and her committee have made arrangements to take the group to Atlantic City for lunch at Resorts International. A bus will leave borough hall at 10 A.M., Thursday, Feb. 8th. It will return to Stone Harbor around 5 PM. If the day is inclement the trip will be postponed a week until Thursday, Feb. 15th. All members interested in making this trip are urged to contact Mrs. Fisher for reservations as soon as possible.
DINNER SPONSORED BY CA.C. s The Wildwood Community Action Council (CAC) will be sponsoring a Chicken A Pig Feet Dinner on Sat., Feb. 3rd at the Wildwood Community Service Center, 3811 New Jersey Avenue. The dinner will begin at noon. A donation of S2.50 will be acceptable. Meals may be picked up or delivered by calling 522-0231. Also, the Wildwood Community Action Council will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 13th at 7:30 PM. at the Wildwood Community Service Center.
