Vo-fecfi Plans Sixth Annual Dinner The Cape May trinity Vocational Technical Center will hold its Sixth' Annual Alumni Dinner Thur:, Feb. 15th at 6:00 P.M. in Vo-Tech’i All-Purpose Jtoom. • This year’s event will be especially significant as It will culminate Vo-Tech’s celebration .of National Vocational Education Week. An added, feature will be the Employer dinner to be held in conjunction with this years Alumni Dinner. These employers cooperate with yo-Tech in the employment .of high school youths in the Cooperative - Industrial Education program. . The menu will include roast beef with -mushroom sauce, baked potato, string beans, salad, apple pie, and beverage, all for $5.00 per^person. For reservations and additional information call 465-3064. ACC-CCI AWARDS CERTIFICATES Fifty-nine (persons successfuly completed courses at the Atlantic Community College Casino Career Institute (ACC-CCI) ami were awarded certificates in January. Twenty-four persons were ehrolled-^in black-jack courses, 24 in. cfaps courses, and 11 in roulette. Persons taking ACC-CCI courses undeigo eight hours of instruction a day, seven days a week. New Jersey's Casino. Control Commission requires four swedes or. 160.hdurs of instruction for blackjack dealers, six weeks or 240 hours of instruction for craps and five weeks" .or 200 hours of instruction for roulette. ACC-C.CI courses do not carry college credit. s Certificates received by the 59 will enable them to apply for personal licenses to work in New Jersey gaming casinos, which most of them indicated they would do.

To gain their new titles each had to attend 400 classroom hours, put in 3600 clinical hours and study for two years at the School of Radiologic Technology at Burdette Tomlin. Burdette Tomlin Gets 3 New Radiology Technicians
Three people each with 3600 clinical hours and 400 didactic (Classroom) hours in the Radiology Department of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital have added the coveted title of Registered Technician
(R.T.) to their names.
Lori Chatfleld, Franie Powers and Barbara Sawn have successfully completed their two yeat course in the field of radiology and aie now nationally registered, meaning, they can wprk * in.- any radiology
department in the country.
‘Tin our school of Radiologic Technology here at Burdette Tomlin, we train our technicians about the anatomy of the body, the many positions necessary for radiographing and other procedures during (heir two years of study,” said Dr. Daniel Wilner, Radiologist and head of the Radiology Department. “The school continues from September to September with the examination being given in November of 1978,” said Kathleen O’Donnell, R.T., the
present class instructor.

What these three newly registered technicians will be doing now that they’re fully accredited will be to carry out X-Ray Examinations under a
physician’s orders.
These X-Rays may be taken on a wide variety of. equipment available in the department at J' Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. All the X-Rays are ■ taken under the supervision of either Dr. Wilner, the Department head, Dr.. Marvin Podolnic, Dr. Eva Fox, Dr. Mario Cinquino or Dr. Gene Shore, Assistant Radiologists.
