SH Qvic Club Luncheon The second monthly luricheoff <rf the Women’s Civic Club for 1979 will be held on Tucedsy February 20th at the Whitebrier. 21st k the beach in Avalon, starting at 12:30 p.m. Mrs. Ramona Wilson club president stated all local members will be contacted by teleptione to attend this meeting. She also added that the past few meetings have been a huge success with over 25 members attending. During these monthly get together* the members have had a chance to add many suggestions to improve the club's activities.Various programs which have been suggested to the program committee have been refined, assuring a greatly increased overall program for the coming summer season when most members will be enjoying their summer homes. Beginning February 20, Atlantic Community CoUege is offering a two-credit course for persons who want an accurate preview of college. “Personal Orientation to CoUege" will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 to 7 p.m. for six weeks at ACCs Atlantic City Extension, 13 S. Tennessee Ave. Tuition is 134 Registrations will be accepted at the first class meeting. Students will learn how to make sound decisions about college and their future from experts in these areas. Topics include human potential, testing, motivation and career development. Persons wishing to register for the course or to obtain more information should contact ACCs Counseling Office at 625-1111 or 646-4960, Ext. 201. Master Charge and Visa are accepted. First-time ACC students will he assessed a $10 application fee.

L.T. Auxiliary Luncheon

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lower Township Rescue Squad will hold their luncheon on Wectaesday Feb. 21. 1979 at the Squad Buiklir* Main A Georgia Avea., Villas at 11:00 noon. The menu will he chicken noodle soup, chicken croquettes, mashed potatoes, peas, roll A butter, deeeert A beverage. Following the luncheon there will be a social. Mrs. Emma Roseman is hoetess for February.

STONE HARBOR ( RESCUE REPORTS Stone Harbor Rescue responded to the following emergencies for January. \ 1 Fire; 6 Injuries; 3 Illnesses, including strokes; 2 Life and' Death; 7 Transports, for a total of 19. Recertification in C.P.R. for squad members will be held on Feb. f 26th. If you are overdue try to make it. A speedy recovery is wished for squad members Robert Scott and Tony Greifm. Congratulations to squad members Dan and Nancy Uoyd, who are expecting a little Lloyd in August. The squad welcomes new member Dawn Brautigan.
