1979 Tourist Prbmotional Campaign Launched by County

The Cape May County Department of Public Affaire has launched its 1979 tourist promotional campaign, having just returned from the Cincinnati Sport, Boat and

Travel Show.

The Departir|«nt has completed their list of cities to be visited this year, with the first stop being Harrisburg, Pa. from now through Feb. 10th, followed closely by Boston, Feb. 14th to Feb. 19th. Suffem, N.Y. and Allentown, h. will be visited simultaneously between Feb. 28th and March 4th. March

14 to March 18 will see the Department stopping off at Roxborough, Majs., followed by Cleveland between March 30 and April 8. April 27 to April 29 will mark the] last of the U.S. cities to be vi lited - Hartford, Conn. There will be six shows in Canada the Department will participate in, beginning in mid-February and running through late April, with all the dates not yet confirmed. In announcing the show schedules, Freeholder Catanoso reminded all county

businessmen, Chambers of Commerce, business organizations and Municipalities that there is a need for promotional material to be distributed at the shows. Anyone having a supply of literature to be distributed may bring it to the Department of Public Affairs, located on the first floor of the Terminal Building at the Cape May County Airport. Other drop-off points for brochures include the information centers in Ocean City, Wildwood and Cape May.
