A special appeal for blood donors from the borough of Stone Harbor was issued this week by the Chairman of the local Red Cross Donor Recruitment Committee. Mrs. Dorothy Fink. The Bloodmobile will be at the Lutheran Parish Hall. 92nd and Third Aves...on Friday. March 2. from i to 7 p.m. and donors are being urged ‘.o m&ke an extra effort to come and donate. Stone Harbor is being asked to collect . 75 units of blood to help maintain blood supplies in local hospitals. "Not many people know that the Red Cross is now supplying

all the blood being used in Burdette Tomlin Hospital, and most of the hospitals in South Jersey." said Mrs. Fink. “We want Stone Harbor to do it’* part in keeping that supply at a high level.” Telephone recruiters will soon begin contacting known donors, and appointments will be made on a scheduled basis for their convenience. Donors without appointments will also be welcome, and anyone interested is encouraged to stop in at the bloodmobile between 2 and 7 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling Mrs. Fink at 368-2666, or the Red Cross office at 465-7382.
