Guarantee Bank Announces Grants The Guarantee Bank of Atlantic City has announced that Scholarship Grants are available from the Elmer Smith Scholarship Trust. Mr. Smith died October 13, 1972, at the age of 94. Bom in South Scaville.'hc was an engineer with the General Electric Company and retired in 1952. During his lifetime, Mr. Smith was a generous contributor to local
charities.
The funds available are to be used for the higher education of | deserving residents of Avalon, Dennis Township, Upper Township and Sea Isle City who are in need of financial assistance. A Scholarship Committee has been established in accordance with the tedps of Mr. Smith’s Will to cvaluat^ the applications of those studehts. seeking Scholarships. Pursuant to the terms of his Will, thecommittee will give prcfcrcncfe to students in an engineering or medical program and to students who will attend the Coflege of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Rutgers at New Brunswick, Stevens Institute of Technology or Princeton University. Applications'will also be accepted from students who will attend other schools and who will pursue other fields of

Applications for the Scholarship Awards are available at the Holy Spirit High School, Middle Township High School, Ocean City High School, Wildwood Catholic High School and any elementary school in ’ Upper Township, Dennis Township, Avalon and Sea Isle City. Bloodmobile : Visit Tomorrow The Stone Harbor Branch of the Cape May County Chapter of the American Red Cross will have their annual blood mobile visit at the parish hall of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 93rd St. A 3rd Avenue on Friday March 2nd from2to7:00p.m. To make an appointment, call Mrs. Dottle Fink, 368-2666 or come directly to the bloodmobile tomorrow.
Dates, places, and times of local visits by a representative of the Cane May County Food Stamp Office during the month of March have been announced by Leroy Cardile, County Food
Stamp Supervisor.
The purpose of the "Field Visits" is to accept applications or inquiries about the Food Stamp Program by persons who are unable to visit the main office in the Cape May County Social Services Building in Rio Grande. The representative will be on hand at the eight field offices from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon, excq>t for the Whitesboro Center which will run from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm on the dates specified.
