Mr. and Mrs. James Byrnes of Wildwood Crest returned from a vacation at Lake Tahoe. They had a rough trip back, however, due to the fact that the flight was delayed in Chicago with the usual low ceiling and foggy weather conditions but it was also delayed because of a lack of fuel. Is this an indicator of things to come? Jeffrey Hogg, son of Loretta ahd George Hogg of Wildwood Crest entertained at a supper party held at McDonald's in Wildwood on Thursday, March 8 to celebrate his fourth birthday. His guests were: Christy Palermo, Julie McAnaney, Christy Yecco, Christopher Turco, Williani Paulhamus and Andre Rapattoni. Gregg Olson, 9 year old son of Gus and Jean Olson of Wildwood Crest marked his birthday on Tuesday. March 6th. His birthday celebration was held on Sunday with a family dinner in the Olson home. their daughter Jill of Rio Grande have returned from a four day stay in Disney World. Bonnie and Gary Sloan and their daughters, Kim, Rachel and Karrie of North Wildwood spent three weeks in Fort Lauderdale at the winter home of her parents, Betty and Ray Guzmon of Wildwood Crest. Diane and Bill Henfey of North Wildwood joined them during the second week. The two couples spent a week in the Keys while the Guzmon's kept all the children. Joel Deutser, son of Peggy and Joel Deutser, celebrated his tenth birthday on Saturday, March 10 with a birthday party at McDonald's in Wildwood. His guests were school friends and members of Cub Scout Pack No. 184 of Wildwood. Mona and Jack Taylor of Wildwood Crest spent some time at the home of their daughter Linda in Fort Lee, N.J. Linda is the new Director of King Arthur’s Fitness and Racquet Qub which opens on March 18 in Fort Lee. Besides seeing their daughter, the Taylors reported that the highlight of their trip was visit to the Windows of the World Room on the 107th Floor in the New York Trade Center in New York

Corey Aspen burg of Wildwood Crest has returned from a visit with his, parents Mr. and Mrs. Carl Aspen burg, Sr. of Wildwood Crest, in their winter home in Stuart. Florida. Corey made some side trips down to the Keyes and into the Everglades. Mr. and Mrs. George Young, Jr. (nee Patty Baldwin) of North Wildwood are spending their honeymoon in the Pocono’s. The second grade class of St. Ann’s Regional School was invited to help celebrate the eighth birthday of Thomas DiDonato. son of Alba and Thomas DiDonato of Wildwood, at a supper party held at McDonald’s in Wildwood on Monday evening, March 5. PADDY’S , FESTIVAL A St. Patrick’s Festival takes place 3 p.m. Friday, March 16 at the Wildwood Crest Pier, sponsored by Wildwood Cultural Affairs. It will include dancing and entertainment under the direction of Kathy DWabio. HOT BUFFET BY SONS OF ITALY AUXILIARY A Polish & Italian hot buffet takes place Saturday, March 24,9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sons of Italy Hall, 4503 Park Blvd., Wildwood, benefitting the Ladies Auxiliary of Sylvester Grand Lodge. Mr. Sykes is a graduate of Widener College and is presently associated with Todco Corp. of Merion, Ohio, as a sales representative. The wedding is planned for the spring of 1980.
