Except for swimming, sunning, snorkeling and sailing there might seem to be little recreational activity on St. John. After you are here for a short time, you find there are many opportunities. Every day. notices are tacked on the trees neaf the Post Office $nd on the Bulletin Board: in Cruz Bay Square of coming events. There is a cricket game nearly every week. There are local softball games, and we watched the St. John team play the Canadian Softball champs. But the really big affairs are the • pish Fries”. Volunteer groups like the Rotary. It's pleasant sitting on a sunny beach, listening to the music in the'background - and the food is pretty good, too
