At Eagle

Square dancers from throughout N.J. will converge at the Golden Eagle Motel, Beach Drive, Cape May. this Saturday, starting at 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Triple Towns Twirlers. 400 dancers are expected to participate in the daylong program. Greek Festival Has New Date Tuesday, Apr. 3 is the new date for the Wildwood Cultural Affairs "Greek Festival" to be held 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Victorian Towers. 608 Washington St.. Cape May. Retired Educators Had Printing Talk The Cape May County Retired Educators Association held its winter luncheon meeting recently at the Golden Eagle Inn in Cape May. Lee and Edith Hagerthay of Linwood gave talk and demonstration of early printing, dating from the 15th century. Free Theatre Tonight, Friday and Sat. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" will be performed tonight, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Walter E. Edge Hall Theater, Atlantic Community College, Mays Landing. Contest

Students from Wildwood Catholic High School are amongst 200 participants from 44 high schools across N.J. expected to take part in Montclair State College's 2nd annual Spanish Poetry 4 Drama Reading Contest this Saturday, March 31. The contest will be held on campus in Cakia Center Auditorium between 9a.m. and 4:30p.m. Contestants, who have been selected as finalists by their home schools, will compete in four categories depending upon their level of study. AH will receive certificates of merit, and winners will be awarded medals

and books.

The competition is under the chairmanship of Dr. Rose Mine, a member of the Spanish faculty. It is supported by funds from the Teresa de Escoriaza Scholarship, set up as a memorial to an early and much beloved Spanish teacher at the college. Michael Brogan, of Lower Twp was amongst policemen who completed a recent two-week in Instructor Training for Law Enforcement Officers conducted at the State Police Training Center in Sea Girt. The two-week course is geared to provide each student with an understanding of learning principles and effective teaching methods. The students are retired to successfully pass both academic and practical tests designed to measure their ability to effectively teach police

coureses.
