Camp Opens Woodstown - Holly Shores Girl Scout Council has several openings on its summer camp staff this year, according to Denise Moyle. Holly Shores Program Director. "The Council still needs general counselors, waterfront staff, a cook and a business manager for its resident camp program.” Moyle said "She is particularly interested in applicants who are 21 or older." she

added.

Holly Shores owns two camps. Camp Sheppard's Mill, in Bridgeton. and camp Sacajawea. in Franklin Township. The camp staff will work for four weeks with younger girls at Sacajawea. and then move to Sheppard’s Mill for a four week riding camp program. "The camp season runs from June 24 to August 17. Pre-camp training tor counselors is required, and begins June 18." Moyle said. For more information and an application, contact Moyle at the Girl Scout office. 769-0328

Rewi Thompson, stellar Middle Township basketball player, has been chosen on the second team All-Group II team. Selected by the Courier-Post. John Halbruner, LCM also made the 'second team. ( Tony Davenport and Earl Skinner of Pleasantville made the first team. The season averages for these players were: Davenport 25.9 Halbruner 20.5 Skinner 14.6 Thompson 14.5 Herb Jaudon. MTHS was given honorable mention. Coach Chuck Dougherty's baseball team has had three scrimmages: against Glassboro, Berlin Tech, and Oakcrest, all

Several members of Art Tuel’s softball team from last year are now playing on college teams. t Among them are Kathy Burke at j Susquehanna and Michelle I Phillips at N. Carolina. 1 Terri Beitel who also played I softball at M.T., is now on the J. tennis team at Trenton State W.
