New Rec Equipment Installed By Volunteers
By Bill ShcrmaB When Dr. Ted Johnson, Middle Township Supt. of 'Schools announced at a meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Cape May Court House that there was to be a Giant Playtoy erected on the playground at the elementary school No. 1, he asked for manpower to build the unit. And manpower he got this past weekend, March 31st and April 1st. Manpower to assemble the mounds of equipment purchased from the General Recreation Corp. of Narberth, Pa. by means of a grant procured by Bob Metz, vice-principal of the school. Manpower came from
the Kiwanis Club with Jack tfcnd. building contractor in charge, and helped by Dave May. Joey Trowbetter, Prank Ross, Bill Sherman, Bob Penkethman, Don Rhanes with GU Sinkway, Greg Willis. Steve Chase and Ted Johnson Prom the Optimists Club came Carl -Baker. Ray BaU (with Ray. Jr) Norman Gabriel and Bob Wells. MT Optimists To Hold Youth Oratorical Contest
The Optimist Club of Middle Township will hold its Annual Oratorical Contest on April 10, 1979 at 7 p.m at its regularly scheduled meeting at the Middle Diner. President Carl Baker said the contest was open to all boys and girls of Middle Township. Avalon. Stone Harbor and Dennis Township under the age of 16.
