Judyski Announces Avalon Candidacy

Philip F. Judyski, an Avalon resident since 1958, has announced his candidacy for Council Person-at-large in the May 8th Municipal election. Mr. Judyski is a Wildwood Catholic High School graduate and has attended Pierce Junidt College where he received an Associates Degree in Business Administration and Marketing and

Management.

In 1961. he enlisted in the U. S. Army National Guard and was commissioned as an officer in 1965 after graduating from the N. J. Military Academy. He is also a graduate of the U. S. Army Command and General Staff College and is currently a Major in the

Army Reserve.

Mr. Judyski’s past memberships include the Lion's Club, the New Jersey Home Builder's Association, Avalon Recreation Committee, Avalon Conservation Committee and Little League Baseball Coach. He is presently a member of the Avalon Board of Adjustment, and is the ownerand operator of Phil's Deli in Avalon. His special interests are fishing and working with teens. Phil has operated teen dances at the Avalon Hotel for the past several

years.

Mr. Judyski's business experience includes construction, sales, and

management. He is a past vice president of Cape Concrete Company, and Manager of the Avalon Hotel. He currently resides at 297 58th Street with his wife. Connie, and two soms, Kevin and Phil Jr. Steward Gray Is Running for Council Raymond S. 'Stewart' Gray is one of the candidates running for Councilman in the May 8 Avalon election. A resident of Avalon since 1971, Mr. Gray was City Manager of Radnor Township. Wayne .'Pa., until he retired in 1961 He was executive director of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce from 1961 to 1966. He is a former director of the N.J. Resort Travel Association and the Ocean Hgwy. Association. He has served twice on the Vestry of St. Mary’s Church. He is Administration Coordinator of the Cape May County Civil Defense.
