Stone Hiifbor: Two major changes in the flow of traffic will be made effective Monday April 16th. according to Chief of Police William B. Donohue. Planned as a benefit to motorist is the reversal of the traffic flow on 97th street from Third Ave. to First avenue. Currently automobiles move from Fast to West and many motorlstsare inconvenienced as they try to enter Third Avenue as cars are stopped there by the traffic light at

%th street.

In the future cars will travel from West to East on this one way street. Cars

moving north on Third avenue may turn right into !»7th street alleviating the traffic problem at the light. They then can continue north on either Second or First avenues. South bound cars will not be permitted to make a left turn into 97th

street.

Also planned for a smoother flow of traffic is converting the present two way traffic flow into a one way flow on Corinthian Drive from 99th street north to 98th street, west on 9Rth street to Sunset Drive then south on Sunset Drive •.o 99th street. Corinthian

Drive south of 99th street and 99th street will remain open to two way traffic. SH Bridge Results Results of the Stone Harbor Duplicate Bridge Club on April 4 wen : North South: First. Bill Coanand Ed Davis; • Second. June Frances and Carolyn Eldon. East West: First. Claire Menge and Vernice Caprio; Second. Mary Frances Engelbert and Esther Stobbart.
