ACTIVITIES Monday-Thursday: Ceramic class starts at 9:30 to 1:30 p.m. Eleanora Cubernot is in charge George Strattan and Cass Clark are the assistants. Knitting, crocheting, hook rugs, broom stick lace, place mats, napkin dolls, stick weaving. Tuesday: Every Tuesday at 9:30a.m. Cass Clark will show you how to decorate a cake, all that is needed is your own cake and icing. In the afternoon Bingo playing from 12:30 to 2:00 p m., bring a canned good of some kind with you. Tuesday & Thursday. Macrame Class starts at 10:00 a m. and lasts all day. Jack Wagner is the genius of this most talented craft. Stick Weaving John Liguori will show you how easy it is just by using 4 sticks. Women's GOP Fashion Show Presidents and past presidents of Women’s Regular Republican Gub of Cape May County will hold a luncheon and fashion show, Tuesday, April 24, at 12:30 p.m. at the Golden Eagle Inn in Cape May. Fashions by Stubbs of Ocean City. Moderator will be past president Rose Bove. Models are: Doris Wittmeyer, Mac McWilliams, Vesta Olsen, Rita Bersani, Peggy Bishop, Ruth Peski, Mary O’Connor, Sarah Henry and Betty Boxter. Music will be by Anna Rafter. Tickets may be purchased from the Officers and Trustees or call 8865314 or 884-4482 or 522-2778. Rummage Sale A rummage sale sponsored by the Graham Class of First United Methodist Church of Wildwood, will be held at the Fellowship Hall on Roberts & Pacific Aves. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. April 27.

Wednesday: Louise Anastasi our nurse will be here from 9:30to 10:30a.m. to take your blood pressure free of charge. In the afternoon this week only there will be no pinochle game, instead Mr. Bart Goldstein of the Environmental Protection and sponsored by the Dept, of Community Affairs will be at the center at 1:00p.m. Thursday: usual activities and in the afternoon Dot Wheeler will be here for the Line Dancing Instruction. This class starts at 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. If you have never been at the center and are 60 or older please sign up with Dot anyone under 60 may participate but can’t sign her book this class is under the S.A.G.E.S. program. Tatting class with Doris Berryman 8t 10:00 a.m. Friday: Usual activities, Pinochle in the afternoon. Sick List: Speedy recovery to Henrietta Amos now with her son Carmen Arena in Florida recuperating. Jean McGuire and our man on the spot Gabe Nagy now in Burdette-Tomlin Hospital. Transportation: If at anytimeyoushouldn’thave anythingplanned why not pick your phone and call Anna M. Walls at 886-5161 and make arrangements to come to the center by bus. Lunches: Lunches are served at 11:30. Be here no later then 11:15 if you are down for lunch, on Wednesday & Friday it’s first come first served.Lunches <are for people 60 and over, 2 lunches per week per person call 886-5161 for any information. Civic Club Musicale

The Women’s Civic Club of Avalon will meet Monday, April 23rd at 12:30 P.M. at the Methodist Church Hall, 34th Street and Dune Drive, according to Mrs. Jayne Reddie, President. Following the business meeting Marion Bunn will present a musicale entitled “Flower and Songs.” Mrs. Bunn has arranged the program and directed the chorus which she will accompany on the piano.
