LIEUTENANT COMMANDER Marcel J. Burjarski (left), Chief, Intelligence and Law Enforcement Branch of the Third ('oast Guard District, receives a Certificate of Appreciation for the Coast Guard Cutter Point Franklin from Michael J. Tobin, Special Agent in Charge of the New Jersey District Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration. The award was given for outstanding contributions in the field of drug law enforcement. The 82foot Cutter Point Franklin, homeported at Cape May, received the certificate for its part in the seizure of the "Kristen Jane" on March 21, 1979. visit with the Welfare Board and a look at activities for senior citizens

at Victorian Towers. County Camera is

produced by the Video Production Center at the county Department of Public Affairs. It is a weekly half-hour program featuring glimpses into the lives and activities of the residents of the Jersey Cape. It is presented on Teleprompter Cable TV Channel 2 in the southern

section of the county.

It's the exhibit displays the work of artists living or working in New Jersey, challenging themselves to create new ways of presenting fresh images. The 40-piece show is considered the best in localcontemp orary art.. The exhibit showings originates from the Summit Art Center, Summit, N.J. under the direction of Robert Reid and is funded by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. A diverse schedule has been arranged to appeal to a wide-spread audience and to create further interest in Current Visual Arts in New

Jersey. •RETRO CLOTHES PARTY" will be held Saturday, May 19 from 10 am to 4 pm. to artist-in-residence, said Helen Dilday. Donations of "clothes out of your attic or put-away closet" are needed. All funds received from this "party" will benefit the much needed new heating system. The old •one recently collapsed from old age! Anyone having clotnes, hats, etc. to donate, but in need of someone to pick them up can receive prompt action by calling the League at 884-8628. Big Band Sound in Ocean City

love the Big Band sounds of the 1930's and 40's are welcome to a "Juke Box Friday Night" record dance. May 4 at 8 p.m. on the Music Pier in Ocean

Dick Alliger, of Wild wood's FM station WCMC’s Saturday Night "MakeBelieve Ballroom", will be host for the evening, playing tapes of the original bands of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey,

Artie Shaw—all the "Greats" for dancing and listening pleasure. The dance, sponsored by the Ocean City Environmental Association, will also feature dance exhibitions of the jitterbug, cha-cha, and other "oldies".
