SI,500 GIVEN TO HOSPITAL BY DANCE CLASS — With the help of over 200 dance students, mostly children from the ‘‘Dancers Two” class of Cape May Court House, $15,000 was donated to the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital recently. The money was the proceeds from the recital held by the class. Suzy Burns, left and Nancy Gibson, both teachers, are shown presenting the check to William H. Waldron. Ill Hospital Administrator and George Daly, of the hospital's Contributions Committee. The money will be placed toward the purchase of items for the children’s playroom in the new pediatrics ward currently under construction. The play area will allow children not bedridden to have an area where they can play, during their stay at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospitaiii Hi v
Avalon Zoning Board Meeting AVALON - The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold its next meeting at 8 p.m. June 8 in the Meeting Room of Borough Hall, listed on the agenda are: Variance application submitted by Mario Evangelist to construct single-family dwelling on lot with insufficient square footage. Variance application submitted by Dolores Hentz to construct singlefamily dwelling on an irregular shaped lot with ins uRicient square f ootage. Formal action is expected at the hearing. Human Services Group to Meet RIO GRANDE - Thr regular monthly meeting of the Human Services Coalition will be held Thursday, June 7 at 1:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Social Services Building in Rio Grande. STONE HARBOR - Larry Strange, a Jersey Cape Shell Club member, T»nd professor of Marine Biology at the Phila. Community College, will speak at the Monday, June 4 meeting held at 8 p.m. at the Wetlands Institute, Stone Harbor Blvd. His topic will be^'Shells of Tropical West America” with slides of his recent shelling expidition there.

White Plains. N.Y. for the past term. Daughter of Mrs. John W. Sykes and the late Mr. Sykes. Miss Sykes was named from Berkeley's fashion marketing and management program.
