The project was conceived by the Optimist Club, ‘‘But", said Club president Carl Baker, “we felt the P,T.A. should be directly involved, since we
attempt to interest as many people as possible in our projects”. The Club's projects are usually oriented toward the youth of the community. • Carl Baker went on to say “the project is a success because of the people in the community who help. We would especially like to thank Mrs. Jackie Ross, a teacher, Mrs. Charlotte Harmon, school principal, Mrs. Cathy Richardson, P.T.A. president and Mrs. Vanessa Heck, P.T.A. chairperson". On June 16 the ClTO and Middle Township Police Department are cosponsoring a program foi boys and girls on bike safety.
