Parades At C.G. Base CAPE MAY - Six Sunset Parades will highlight* this summer's actiyities at the Coast Guard Training
Center.
Sunset Parades, more commonly known as the Evening Retreat of Colors, are formal pageants steeped in military tradition. These foiorful ceremonies, ' usually featuring music by the Training Center's Band. J are never duplicates of each other. All conclude at ■ ' sunset to the stirring notes * of "Taps". A patriotic display of flags, of all fifty states, will decorate the parade Held. The first Sunset Parade will be held June 7 at 8 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend these inspiring Evening Retreats of Colors. • • Art Show N. WILDWOOD — Plans are underway for the North Wildwood Art Show to be held Saturday, July 28, on Beach Drive. Sunday, July 29 has been set aside as a rain date. . , The show Is sponsored by the City of North Wildwood in. coopera lion with many local art enthusiasts and has bacome a favorite with artists from all over New Jersey as well as neigh-* boring states.
