Mayflower Descendants Picnic Set

COURT HOUSE - The Jersey Cape Colony, Society of Mayflower Descendants, will hold its Spring Meeting on Sunday. June 6, at 4:30 p.m. at the Cape May County Park. Pavilion No. 1. A family picnic is planned and all members are urged to attend. Grill facilities will be available and families are urged to bring their own food, while the Colony will provide beverage Children under 18 will be admitted free but adults will be requested to donate $1 per person for picnic

costs.

Cape May Court House. Dancers Two Recital COURT HOUSE - A recital by the Dancers Two Dancing School was held for the benefit of the pediatric ward of the Burdette Tomlin hospital recently. A total of $1500 was raised and presented to William Waldron, administrator. by Nancy Gibson and Suzy Burns, proprietresses of the school. The members of the school got patrons for the recital thus amassing the final total of $1500. Prize winners for getting the most patrons were: First. Karen Gllles; second. Barbara Vetrone, third. Tricia Ricco. The recital was held at the Lower ' (’ape May Regional High School and was entitled "Traveling to the Disco Beat" Rummage and Food Sale CAPE MAY - A rummage and food sale will be held by the Women’s Rpublican Club of; Cape May Thursday. June 7. noon-4 p.m. and Friday. Junes. 10a.m.-4p.m. at the American Legion Bingo Hall on Perry Street.

COURT HOUSE - Middle Township A.A.R.P. 1182 will have a luncheon meeting at noon June 12 at the Social Hall of the Methodist Church in Cape May Court House. John Gilbert. Assistant State Director of A.A.R.P. will conduct the installation of new officers and will honor several retiring officers. The Chapter wHl furnish sandwiches, dessert and beverages. Members are asked to bring dinner plates, knife, fork and spoon.
