AVALON — Mayor Ellsworth Armacost is urging all voters in the Hvough to turn out for the special run-off election Tuesday, June 12. The veteran Mayor stressed that Tuesday's run-off "is the final, and perhaps the most important decision” the voters have had to make in a year long transition to a new Mayor-Council form of government. To assist citizens in understanding and working - with the new system, the Mayor has issuetl a helpful brochure describing the role of the Mayor, five member Council and Administrator in the new government. The brochure, entitle "YOU and Avalon's NEW Mayor-Councij Government." also lists more than 50 telephone numbers which residents will find helpful in secruing assistance in the Borough.
