WILDWOOD - "Soaring Like Eagks M 1s the sermon topic thd 11 a.m. worhsip • services of Calvary Orthodox Holy Trinity Lutheran WILDWOOD - Family Worship at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Poplar and Atlantic Avenues in Wildwood begins at 10 a.m. The service is followed by an informal Coffee Hour In the Social Hoorn of the Parish House, which is situated next door tc the church. The Rev. Bruce H. Davidson, Pastor of Holy Trinity, and his congregation invites visitors to join them in worhsip and share in their fellowship this Sunday morning. * A nursery is Available in the Parish House for all who ahve small children and desire its service.

Presbyterian Church, 119 E. Rio Grande Ave., Wildwood. The Rev. Richard R. Gerber will be preaching from the text, of said 40:18*31 Sunday School is held each week at 9:45 a.m. There are Bible-centered study classes for all age groups from pre-schoolers through adults. A nursery is available during the 11 a.m. service and Sunday School. Parking is available on the church's lot next to the building. The church is air conditioned fdr your comfort. A service of praise and preaching is held at 7 p.m. at the Boardwalk Chapel, between Montgomery and Baker Aves. on the boardwalk. This is an informal service of music and gospel preaching. The midweek prayer service is held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the church building on Rio Grande Ave.

New Pastor At First Methodist

COURTHOUSE - The Rev. Wilbert S. Hoffman will begin his pastorate at First United Methodist Church in Cape May Court House Sunday, June 17. The Rev. Hoffman was born in Port Norris, N.J. and was an Oysterman in that area before God called him into full time Christian service. He completed his high school education at Temple University High School and upon graduation attended and graduated from Asbury College and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. While a student at Asbury he started a Missionary church in the Kentucky mountains. The Rev. Hoffman was ordained in the Southern New Jersey Annual Conference » \

of the United Methodist Church and has served churches in Millville, Westville, Audubon and Williamstown. The Rev. Hoffman is married to the former Donnabelle Ferguson. They have four children. The **Rev. and Mrs. Hoffman will be welcomed to the churth with a Congregational luncheon immediately following the mqftiingworhsip service. Covenant Bible Church

CAPE MAY - "A Father’s Last Words." is the theme of the ll a m. worship service ^of the Covenant Bible ’Church, focated on Fishing Creek Hoad near Bayshore Road in North Cape May. according to the pastor. Dr. George Fincke "A biblical father is concerned for his children's piety, prosperity and through them the piety and prosperity of the nation. A concerned father remembers that he. too. will die and thas should set a godly example for his family." the pastor said. Every father attending the service will be presented with two'gifts. The service will be carried over WCMC, AM (1230) and FM (100.7) for those unable to attend. "The Emotional Proof of Love." is the subject of the 7 p.m. worship service, and will be taken from rtrst John. LTiapter 4. vers A 7 through 21. "God has moved the Apostle John to write this letter to give Christians the certainty of eternal life. One of the certainties is through biding in love and is $ien by the effects in one's life." the pastor commented. The service will be broadcast over WRIOFM, 102 3 for shut-ins *

At 10 p.m. Dr. Fincke, and George Fincke, assistant pastor, conduct the weekly call-in program. "Let's Talk" from the studios of WRIOFM. Listeners are invited to call in questions about the Bible, or to seek help with personal problems. Wednesday at 7 p.m. George Fincke teaches "How To Study and Understand Yotfr Bible." Inquirers are urged to bring notebooks to jof down 'principles of biblical interpretation. Thursday, a neighborhood Bible study is held in the home of Marilyn and Bob Ricci. 310 E. Neward Ave . Wildwood Crest. Saturday morning, a Bible Club meets at the church for boys and girls in grades K-6. 4 Each Sunday morning at 9:45. Dr. Fincke teaches a special course to ladies called. "Seven Basic Needs of a Husband " This is held during the regular Bible School time. and. you need not be a member of the church to take the course. There is no charge, either.
