SEA ISLE - On Friday. June 15. the Gateway Playhouse will resound with the beat of clicking tap shoes when "Dames at Sea" opens, marking the beginning of a new summer season at South Jersey Regional Theatre. Abounding with energy, the show is a delight to anyone who has ever loved an old movie musical. The setting. ‘any Breadway theatre", is home turf for the actors of this production. All are professional New York entertainers^ each a dancer, singer, and actor rolled into one. Featured in the cast are Barbara Tobias as Mona Kent.

Laura Thompson as Joan, and Debby Shively* as Ruby. Dick is played by Scott Whiteleather and Lucky by Kevin Featherston. Paul Anderson, seen recently in SJRT's "Mousetrap", doubles in the roles of Hennesey and The Captain. Ron Brown, a veteran of SJRT in both acting and directing, has returned to the Gateway to direct "Dames." Ron. along with Margate-born Cheryl D. Steinthal. now a professional choreographer, and muscial director Olga Buttle, has been rehearsing the cast since the end of last month, building up a
