Starting at 10 a.m. the events will run- continuously throughout the day winding up with the judging of the Sand Castle Building Contest at 4 p.m. All the events will be held on the athletic fields at 81st & Beach except the Sand Castle Building contest which will be held on the
81st beach.
Then starting at 8 p.m. on the parking lots at 95th & %th sts. and the Beach thi day’s activities will with an hour long musical treat put on by the well known Duffy’s String Band from the Philadelphia Mummers parade. Their theme in the 1979 parade was “A Bouquet of Roses”.
