The League is celebrating the 5(ith anniversary of its founding tnis year, and in addition to the Tour, special events are planned for each month this summer. Hospital Week Planned

COURT HOUSE - The Auxiliary of Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital will be sponsoring Hospital Week between July 8 and July 14. To kick-off the week the Auxiliary will hold a cocktail party on July 8 from 4-8 p.m. at the . Avalon Community Center. 30th Street and the Beach. Avalon. Donation will be $5 and includes 2 cocktails, hor d’ourves and entertainment. The cocktail parly ig open to the public. Tickets may be purchased through any member of the

Auxiliary or at the door. Auxiliary members will be asking for your help during the week for donations to the hospital. ~ An 8 day-7 night trip for two to Nassau raffle will conclude the affairs of Hospital Week. The ensemble mixes a combination of traditional jazz with jazz fusion to produce a unique sound. They play mostly original material written by members of the ensemble, with some traditional jazz favorites in their own arrangements. They have performed in various jazz night spots in the Philadelphia area as well as colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. New Jersey and Delaware. The ensemble has also performed live *n Philadelphia television such as AM Philadelphia and the Morning Show in addition to live radio performances on WRTIFM and WXPN-FM

ICCC Congress Held iii Cape By Curtis Bashaw CAPE MAY The Christian Admiral Bible Conference has been host for over a week now to the Tenth World Congress of the International Council of Christian Churches <ICCC). with some 3.000 delegates from over 80 nations in attendance. The Council represents some 300 denominations of fundamentalist Protestant churches, and was formed in 1948 in Amsterdam. The Netherlands. Dr. Carl Mclntire is a founder and the President of the ICCC Delegates to the Congress havje voiced opinions on many issues through a number of resolutions, most notably one condemning American recognition of Red China. It reads in part, "The Council calls for the immediate cessation of all assistance to Red China and that all efforts to rescue the Communist regime from its colossal failures be abandoned.” Other resolutions dealt with topics ranging from disapproval of "test tube babies." to a unanimous resolution on the "inerrancy of the Scriptures.” to one on human rights. The latter labeled the Soviet Union as "the world’s greatest example of a violator of human rights." Cape First Presbyterian CAPE MAY - The First Presbyterian Church of Cape May starts its summer schedule July 1 and will continue through September 2. The Sunday Worship Service will begin at 10 a m.; Sunday School will begin at 9 a m. and the Adult Bible Study starts at 9:39 a.m. The Rev. Robert N. Peirce will lead the worship service throughout tl\esummer. The church is located at Hughes and Decatur Streets. Cape May and has a parking lot adjacent to the church. Nursery care is available for infants and very young children. Everyone is welcome.
