Gas Hotline Use Heavy
COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County Gasoline Hotline sponsored by the Board of Freeholders and Cape May County Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Cape May County Gasoline Retail Dealers Association, had its busiest days on Saturday and Sunday last (June 23 and 24th). Some K20 calls were taken on Saturday and 1.031 on Sunday when the Hotline operated from 8 a m. to 8 p.m. Additional staffing this week, will enable the Hotline to operate from 8 .a m to 8 p.m. 7 days a week beginning this past week-end. June 23rd. For the first 24 days of June the hotline has answered some 3564 phone inquiries, report Chamber
officials.
Financial contribution to the Cape May County Hotline are being requested by the Cape May County Chamber of
Commerce to help defray operating expenses for additional part time help and advertising and promotion expenses Cape May County business owners and operators should send checks to Cape May County Chamber of Commerce. Box 74. Cape May Court House, N.J. 08210 and denote contribution is for the Gas Hotline. The Hotline nufhber is 46.5-2111. Civic Bazaar CAPE MAY POINT - The Bazaar and Food sale sponsored by the Cape May Point Civic Club will be held Saturday. June 30. The place is the Fire House. Yale Ave.. and the timeisy:30a.m. 'til. Beautiful hand crafted items and home cooked fond will be on sale along with books, plants, misc., items, etc. Everyone is invited.
Shell Club Lecture
STONE HARBOR - Larry Straage, professor of Maring Biology Mon tgomzra County Community College. Phila., Pa. will make a repeat appearwcd at the Monday, July., 2 meeting of * the Jeryey Cape Shell Club 8 p.m. Wetlands Institute. Stone Harbor Boulevard.
Stginges' talk and slides will feature other shelling expeditions he and his family have made. He will bring a display of shells to illustrate his talk. Strange conducts a Shell Museum and Shell Yard in Ocean City, and the public is invited to attend.
