Avalon Gets New Government

AVALON + A new form of government for Avalon was instituted Sunday when the mayor and a fivemember council were sworn into office in a brief ceremony at Borough Hall. Mayor Ellsworth Armacost and council members James Busha, Philip Judyski, Mary Grack Keen, Rachel Sloan and Raymond Gray took borough commissioner the oath of office before an O**" Quinn in a runoff audience of about 50 election June 12. The residents. council members were Council members elected elected at the regualr Gray council president and election May 8.
