Summer Playground Program

CAPE MAY - The Cape May Department of Public Relations and Recreation initiated it's 1979 Summer Playground program Monday. July 2 at the Lafayette Street complex. Under the direction of George Holden. the J [playground offering will strive for the same diversity and quality that all of the other Cape May City leisure time activities are noted for. Programming for the week of July 2„will include registration for summer). | basketball leagues for Pee Wees 12 and under. Juniors

13-16 and Seniors 17 and up as well as an opportunity to participate in a number of non-league games and activities. Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon the Lafayette Street facilities will be under Holden's supervision. The Junior and Senior basketball leagues will be held on Sunday and Wednesday nights (6-9:30 p.m.), respectively.
