The race is the beginning of the summer lifeguard races for the Avalon lifeguards who will be taking their top competitors to the upcoming Tri-Resorts Race, the Margate Memorial and the all important South Jersey

CAPE MAY Barry Clothes took undisputed possession of first place in the senior division of the Cape May Department of Recreation Basketball league 1st Sunday with a surprisingly easy 85-66 win over previously undefeated National Associates.
