Ed Note This is the first in a series on the leading teams in the Cape May County Softball League. Today-Gloria’s; next week Palmer Chevrolet). SoTtball in Cape May County has come a long way in the past 10 years from a game that was looted down on by hard ball players of the old school, it has come to earn - the respect of all who watch it And the the slopitch style of gome with the 10-ft are by the pitcher makes the game more interesting to the fans In fast pitch, the pitcher would strike out 10-15 men a game and the scores would be 3-2.2-1 and even 10. Now, in slo-pitch there is plenty of hitting and baserunning with scores like 128. 16-10, etc And the fans love it! Today we take a look at Gloria's, the leader in the
Cape May (formerly Henri’s). This team was unbeatable until Palmer Chevrolet upset them Friday night at County
