Marine Bank Buys Local Artist’s Work NORTH WILDWOOD - In muted tones of brown and gray Grette Keene painted a harbor scene from New Harbor, Maine. She entered the painting in the 14th Annual North Wildwood Art Exhibition Saturday, July 28. and won Marine National Bank's Purchase Prize. Mrs. Keene's painting will now grace the lobby of the North Wildwood office of the Bank, according to office manager and Assistant Cashier Charles R. Ewan. Jr. A North Wildwood residentlmd art teacher at Widlwood Catholic High School, Mrs. Keene chose , oil as the media for the foggy scene. "Alot of people thought it looked like Otten's Harbor.” Mrs. Keene said. WILDWOOD - Ndw Jersey Senator James S. Cafiero (R- Cape MayCumberland) recently reported that a $79,000 contract for the dredging of Bid well’s Creek in Middle Township has been awarded to Spickard Enterprises of Tuckerton, New Jersey. Cafiero said that, according to Bernard J. Moore, Chief of the Office of Coastal Protection and Donald T. Graham, Assistant Commissioner

for Natural Resources, equipment will be moved on to the site on August 10 with the project to be commenced by August 15 and completed by August 22. The Senator ^reported further that bids for the 500 foot extension of the existing jetty at Bidwell's Creek would be received about the middle of September with a target date for completion of January 1.1960
