Constant pracUce and training keep the Avalon guards in top shade for such lifesaving emergencies as the one that happened Sunday afternoon. "For reasons such as the one that just happened, we ask that everyone using the beaches will do so only during hours when the beach patrol is on duty and then only at the areas where guards are available" said Capt. Wolf. "I think everyone can understand the reason for this, expecially when thejr life, or the lives of their loved ones may be at stake." Capt. Wolf con-
