players, to two scattered runs. Joey Tomlin featured the offense for Kiwanis with 3 home runs and a double, Richie Rhinesmith and Kenny Garrick each scored two runs and "Georgeoas Gil” Sinkway came through with 3 RBI’s. Eddie Lang and Marshall Bethune showed flashing speed getting to first base and beyond. And after making two errors in the first inning, the Kiwanis pnfield settled down and looked like a million dollars. For the Fire Co, Dave May and Tom Poponak played a sterling brand of defense, with Tom making plays a left-handed shortstop should not be able to do. Marshall Bethume made a beautiful catch of a sinking line drive and with Gil Sinkway, Kenny Garrick and Eddie Lang handled everything that went to the outfield. But it was the tremendous power of Joe Tomlin, Donny Rhinesmith and Johnny Jones that put the game on ice for Kiwanis. The rubber game will be played on Wed. night at the County Park Field. And with Paul Hand on the mound for the Fireeaters, and Big Don Rhinesmith blasting the ball for Kiwanis- it should be an interesting game. Game time is 6 p.m.
