Final Park Concerts Slated ; ‘COURT HOUSE - The Concert in the Park presentation by the Cape May County Park will wrap * up on a traditional note over the next two weeks. Sunday, September 9 will see the popular local group 'skip Kehr & the Four Most" on stage, and next Sunday, the 16 the Garden State String Band will wrap up the 1979season. Skip Kehr & the Four Most play toe tappin’, sing-a-long selections for the local nightclub crowd in nearby spots, and are well known by both local and summertime residents. Their “book" includes Dixieland. String Band. C&W. Rock, Latin and Showtunes. Kehr, who doubles as foreman for the Cape May County Pjfl^rstaff, rose to the raig^f Musician 1st Class itflfe US Navy and served (Mthe faculty of the Naval Scnool of Music. He is a native of West Cape

The Garden State String Band is worth a trip back to' the shore for those of you who will have ended your vacation before the 16th. Over a quarter of a century old. the band has been a consistant prizewinner in the famed Mummers Parade on New Years Day down Philadelphia's Broad Street. The strains of “Oh Them Golden Slippers” will fill the air at the Cape May County Park on September 16th to ring down the curtain on another successful season of "Concerts in the Park". Why not plan now to watch the famed string band inaction. the concerts are free, as is parking and admission to the County Park. Bring the family for a day of outdoors enjoyment. Bring along a picnic lunch or buy snacks at the park. Bring your own seating for the concert • The Cape May County Park is on US 9, Shore Road, just north of Cape May Court Houhe at Garden State Parkway milepost 11.

COURT HOUSE - The regular monthly meeting of the Cape May County Stroke Club will be held Tuesday, September 18, at 7 p.m. in the Conference Room of Burdette-Tomlin
