COURT HOUSE - The ( ape May County Gasoline Hotl^ became only a •Warm Line" for the last feu days of August and the, September Labor Day weekend, said one of the
Hotline Staff.
Only 745 calls were received for the week of August 27 to September 3. Of that total, only 258 calls were received for the three-day holiday weekend with Monday (Labor Day) being the heaviest day with 108 calls. Wednesday. August 29 was the heaviest day. with 128 calls for the
weekly period.
TheHotline handled some 4.526 calls for the month of August as compared to 5.544 callsinJuly and 6,869 calls in June. Sqme 17.123 calls tiave been received on the County Gas Hotline as
of August 31.

Defensive Driving Course COURT HOUSE.— The (’ape May County Retired EduBRtors' Association, a menmers of the National Retired Teachers Association, will give a Defensive Driving Course September 18. 20. 25. 27. The classes will be held from 1:30to3:30p.m,in the Civil Defense Room in the Cape May County Library in Cape May Court House on Mechanic Street. You must possess a valid driver’s license to take this course. All instruction is giVen in the class room. A student must attend all sessions to receive the D.D.C. certificate.
