Every Fool,” will begin at 8 p.m. in the auditorium of Walter E. Edge Hall on the Mays landing campus.

Ex-Smokers Sought

Admission is free and open to the public. Two professional clowns, John Towsen and Fred Yockers, will present n repertoire which inclines n generous sampling ol acrobatics, juggling, pantomime, magic and slapstick. They will begin the program with a short make-up demonstration and explain little known facets of the clown art. The show's title comes from a medieval saying, "if every fool wore a crown, we would all be kings."

Towsen received a Ph. D. in theatre from New York University and has written a book on the history of clowns. He studied at the Kingling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College. Yockers, who also studied at the clown college, has taught clown workshops at numerous colleges. Both initiated the first fully ” accredited college course in the art of clowning at the State University of New York. The performance is part of ACC's 1979-80 Cultural Series. ►

County Units, is conducting a-search for ex-smokers

Ex-smokers who have succeeded in breaking the cigarette habit are needed by the American Cancer

Society to conduct quitsmoking programs for the unprecedented number of

persons who* a re seeking help in quitting.

In a recent announcement. Anne Marie Singerman, Coordinator of

ACS New Jersey Division Quit Smoking Programs, said:

"An estimated half a million New Jerseyans\quit smoking on Nov. 16. 1&78, the day of the American Cancer Society’s. "Great American

Many have not gone back to smoking, but many others who want to quit are finding it hard to kick the habit. They need and want help in quitting for good.” To meet the demand for stop-smoking clinics, the Society is training forrrier smokers to become Quite Smoking Facilitators. Using ACS educational materials designed to help smokers break the habit,

facilitators conduct sixweek quit smoking programs upder A.C.S. auspices. Those interested in undertaking the brief training course for Quitsmoking facilitators may apply to The American Cancer Society, Cape May County Unit, 15 Delsea Dr., Rio Grknde, 08242, phone 886-1154.
