Conserve electricity ond get' OPEC's oily bond out of your pocket.

About one-third c4 the electricity you use today is produced by burning oil (the rest comes from cool ond nudeor fuels). Out with OPEC raising the price of our oil by more than 65% since the beginning of this year, the cost of this oil-fired electridty is going out of sight. Sooner or letter, these oil price increases ore going to cotch up to our customers through the Energy Adjustment in their bills. When they do, typical f household electric bills could go up by 20% or more. ' r Until we con put more cool ond nudeor plants into service, the best way to fight these oil price increases is with Energy Conservation. It’s especially important now i' because almost every kilowotf-hour you save is o kilowatthour that would have to be produced by OPEC oil. We're nor saying (hot your electric bills will go down if you conserve; the oil price increases we've already seen ore so great that your bill will probably go up no matter how hord you try to conserve. Out if you don't try to conserve -- or aren't trying already - your electric bill will show the

. full impact of OPECs dirty work. And you'll’ be paying much more for ypur energy thon you reolly hove to. Conservotion is critically important now, nor just for reasons of patriotism, nattonol security, or o sound balance of payments. It's criticolly important to the size of your electric bill. If you wont to get OPECs oily hand out of your ^ pocket, let us help you conserve. Just send the coupon ^ below to Atlantic Electric, Public Relations Dept.. 1600Pacific Avenue, Atlantic City.
