The fire started at about 8:40 p.m., just 10 minutes after employees left the building. Workers had reported some trouble with a fish processing machine that sporadically disrupted the circuit breaker durieg the day. The intensity of the fire
has’ hampered a positive determination of the cause,
police said.
The blaze is believed to have begun at a high point, burning down to the floor. Hre roof at the eastern end of the building buckled, causing the walls to collapse in that section.
