Gas Hotline Reduces Hours COURT HOUSE - Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Robert Patterson has announced that as of October l, the hours of the highly successful "Gas Hotline Service,” will be modified for its seven days a week operation. The revised hours will be from 9 a.m. toSp.m. The Gas Hotline Service IviH continue in operation until October 15. according to Mr. Patterson.."to further aid the visitors and local residents in locating gas stations that are open at various hours, provide full service as well as their geographic location,” he said. He singled out the need for the Hotline Ser- ! vice during the Victorian Weekend and Columbus Day holiday. Patterson stated tint as of October 15 the now used Gas Hotline phone number 465-2111 will be disconnected. He said a special operator will refer all calls to the Chamber's main nuhiber 465-7181. "A great deal of valuable information was gained in the formation, scheduling and operation of our Hotline and we will continue to use this information to assist the local residents and visitors to our area, through out the fall and winter season," Patterson said. "During our four months of operation, we processed in excess of 17,500 calls for assistance" he said. Classes will be held Tuesdays from noon to 3: p.m. and Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m This course is designed to prepare qualified, professional nurses to function in the Monitored Bed Unit or any other acute care areas where monitors are an integral part of patient care. The course will be taught by Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital nurses and physicians involved in the specialty of coronary care. The Coronary Care Course is being offered to nurses in the area, they need not be on the staff.
