Walkers Wanted For Heart Benefit AVALON - Deborah Hospital Foundation is looking for a lot of good walkers. The "Save-A-Heart" walkathon to benefit the Deborah Hospital will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Sunday October 21, at 120th Street and Second Avenue, Stone Harbor and will continue for 10 miles down Second Avenue into Avalon on Dune Drive down to Seventh Street back to 30th Street and up to the Community Hall where a small "walking party" will be held for walkers. "We’re really hoping that we get several hundred walkers for this worthwhile event," said Mrs. Jean Glazier, chairperson of the event.
