Pottery Classes At Rec Center VILLAS — The Lower Township Recreation Center is once again offering Pottery Classes to its residents, Potter Carol (Black) Albrecht will instruct at both beginner and advanced levels. Areas covered will be handbuilding by various methods, throwing of the wheel and glazing techniques. Classes will be held at the Rec. Center Wednesday evenings, beginning Nov. 14. Mie beginner classes will oe held from 6-8 p.nv. and the advanced classes for those with previous experience on the whell will be held from 8-10p.m. There will be a $3 registration fee. All participants will pay for the supplies they use in their projects. Registration may be’ made by calling the Rec. Center at 886-7880 between .the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 n>.m.

Food Stamp Office during the month of November have been announced by Leroy Cardile, County Food Stamp Supervisor. the purpose of the "Field Visits’' is to accept applications or inquiries about the Food Stamp Program by persons who are unable to Wsit the main office in the Cape May County Social Services Building in Rio Grande Ph 729-9200ext. 232. The representative will be on hand at the eight field offices from 9:30 a.m. until noon except for the Whites boro Center which will run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the dates specified. October 29, at 7:90 p.m. at the Victorian Towers in Cape May. The show will be presented by Platt's Hairstyling Team and is being sponsored by Xi Beta Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. The show will feature demonstratiosn on updating your current wardrobe and natural makeup and haircare. Parmanents, haircoloring ear piercing and "honey lipping", a new form of hair removal using homey, and haircutting will be performed live.

CAPE MAY - The Cape May Kiwanis Club along with the support of the Lower Cape May Regional Kiwanis Key Club and the Cape May Kiwana, staged a successful pet show and

parade Sept. 29.

First place winners received gold cups and blue ribbons, red ribbons for second place and a green ribbon for honorable

mention.
