The youthful Disillusionytes used all their volleyball skills to outpoint Kahn’s Ugly Muggers 15-8, 1*8, 15-7 with solid team defense and offense. Jim Coen and Roy Hartell served to perfection while Shep Taylor led the defense for 'he victors. Bucky Vernon, Jerry Roth atid Louis Agar set and spiked at will for Kahn’s but it wasn’t enough. The revamped Stum biers II behind Joe "the plant man" Halasz, Dave Piacentine and Bruce Prichard declawed the Coast Guard Bears 15-2,15-5,15-13 with overwhelming aggressiveness at the net. Bob Pullinger played fine all-around volleyball for the Bears.

Lynn Schall, Secretary, J. Richard Peterapn, Treasurer, and Walter P. Murphy, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer. The reins of office for the Women’s Auxiliary changed hands at their final summer meeting August 27 at the Club. Commodore and Mrs. Fallon (Mary) will entertain at a cocktail pary immediately preceding the festivities at the club. Red Cross Fund Drive COURT HOUSE - October is the Fund Drive month for the Red Cross. The community's help to conferfS* our services in CapfeMay County. Red CrokdVervices are free and can Mp utilized by all. The Red Cross works almost completely with volunteers and the organization is not funded by the United Way. Some Red Cross Facts. 1. The Burdette Tomlin Hospital receives 100 percent of it's blood directly from the Red Cross. In addition, every resident of the county is protected through the Red Cross program. 2. 568 persons received certificates through our First Aid and Water safety courses in the past year. 3. During the snow storm early this year, 1,000 persons were housed by Red Cross. 4. Hie military families in the community are protected by 24-hour telephone coverage in case of emergency verifications. Some families have received financial assistance while waiting for their first pay check. Several Veterans were helped with paperwork in order for them to secure assistance from the V.A.

Schumann Club Opens Season WILDWOOD - The Schumann Gub of Wildwood opens its Winter Season with a musical program entitled "Good Times", on Tuesday. Oct. 23 at Sp.m* The program will be presented at Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church, Maple and Atlantic Aves. Members and friends are cordially invited to attend.

Ruggieri (center). Mr. Ruggieri Mils his winning 13 pound, 13 ounce Blue Fish. Rooking on are his proud son Dante A. Ruggieri and Wildwood Commissioner Richard Nordaby. In addition to the trophy, Mr. Ruggieri received $500 in fishing gear and accessories.
