Bittner Suggests County Gtizens Advisory Council

COURT HOUSB-Jack Bittner, Repnblican Freeholder Candidate stated that he would like to reseach the need for a County Wide Citizens Advisory Council. "This program would have to be taken to all municipalities to see if they think it is worthwhile. My idea is to possibly have one person from each community on such a council." The council could bring input from municipalities to the freeholders and take back Ideas and programs that are being worked on at a County level, Bittner suggested. I find that people everywhere like to know

what is going on. They like to have some input. This may be one way to help smooth the lines of communication throughout the entire county." Bittner stated. At a time when we are getting less and less from our Democrat controlled Federal and State Governments, the Free ho Were are finding ways to provide more services and keep coats down." Bittner said. "I want to be part of this hard working team. I want to help fight for more programs and aid for Cape May County," he added. "I am willing to dedicate

as much time as it takes to represent the taxpayers of Cape May County. To do this, I feel a constant open line of communications with the people is necessary." Five Mile Beach Vanners To Meet N. WILDWOOD - Five Mile Beach Vanners meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at North Wildwood Community Center, 10th and Central Aves., at 7:90 p.m. Next meeting is Nov. 14.

Travel Program Set For Seniors STONE HARBOR - Donald Rhinesmith of the Senior Travel Service-R-Way Travel and Tours will present a movie covering travel on the steamship Rotterdam to the seniors chib. Rhinesmith will also discuas various package tours and trips to the Seniors at the Nov. 7 business meeting in the school hall. Mrs. Louise Prager, president of (he Seniors, will also outline plans for the annual Christmas party to be held the first Wedneaday of December.
