Economic Reform Pledged In Fox Congressional Candidacy

BfCECII FOX "It may seem a bit corny — but I believe that it is important to have men and women in Congress who will pursue policies that encourage and preserve that opportunity for others," Fox said. On the global front. Fox said the current antiAmerican wave of feeling in Iran and Pakistan is a pointed indication of the deterioration of the United States' position of respect in the world "One might say we are the Rodney Dangerfield of politics." the sheriff said. "We have been too timid. We have been too soft. We have lost our direction." he added. control of government spending.” Taxes could be reduced over a three year period by an average of 33 percent with the largest percentage reduction going to lower and middle income taxpayers, Fox theorized. The proposal would also reduce the corporate tax rate by one percentage point a year for three years, and increase the small business surtax exemption from $50100,000. he added.. "If government and private enterprise would work cooperatively as a partnership, the economic pie to be cut by everyone would increase and not diminish." Fox said. Fox. a lifelong area resident, operates the Edgewopd Village mobile park in Rio Grande as well as maintaining the sheriff's office. He is married and the father of two children. The candidate currently resides in Court House. He is a graduate of Cape May High School and a former state policeman. Fox is active in various Republican organizations and professional clubs.
