Nutcracker At ACC MAYS LANDING - The Mt. Laurel Regional Ballet Co. will present two performances of Tchaikovsky’s "Nutcracker,” Saturday, Dec. 22 at Atlantic Community College. THfe performances will begin at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the auditorium of Walter E. Edge Hall on ACC’s Mays Landing campus. Admission is $4-50 for adults and $3.50 for children, students and senior citizens. The ballet revolves around the story of Clara, the daughter Of a German physician, who is given a Nutcracker doll at her Christmas Party by a mysterious and wicked man who later summons giant mice to carry her away. However, the sleeping Nutcracker awakens in time to slay the Mouse King. He then turns into a Prince and leads Clara on a journey through his magical kingdom. Ticket information can be obtained by calling ACC, 625-1111 or 646-4960 ext. 325 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30p.m.
