In addition there is a young female Eastern Skunk — NOT deacented - a beautiful opossum, a squirrel donated by Pine Haven Campground. These tiny creatures were found as helpless babies and never would have survived without the help of kind volunteers. Outside there is a goat marten (don't put your finger in his cage he'll bite) and a few geese. The center is run through the issuance of state and federal permits and the game warden is constantly checking to make sure that the animals are receiving proper care and treatment.
