Holiday Basketball Tourney

COURT HOUSE - One of the best holiday tournaments ever to be held in South Jersey, will take place at the Middle Township High School Gym, when the Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club sponsors the girls basketball tournament on Dec. 26,27,28 and 29. The teams participating represent Atlantic, Cumberland and Cape May' Counties best girls teams. The line-up features Atlatnic City, Pleasantville, Hbsegami, Vineland, Oakcrest, Lower Cape May, Wildwood and host Middle Township. Dennisville Tour Set

The tournament is under the direct supervision of Bill Penman, coach of the Middle Twp. girls varsity. He will be backed up by the members of the Court House Kiwanis Club, which is donating the trophies, to the winning team, the AllStar team and to the most valuable player in the tourney. Bob Penkethman, viceprincipal of the High School supervised the project for the Kiwanis, but now thathe is enjoying a welldeserved sojourn in sunny Florida, his duties have been assumed by Bob Moss brooks, president of the Kiwanis Chib, assisted by his officers Lou Lutfri and Bill Sherman. Frank Ross is in charge of Public Relations and Press and is also the official photographer.

DENNISVILLE— Dennisville United Methodist Church will have its Twelfth Annual Christmas Open House Tour Thursday, Dec. 27, from 6 to 10 pjn. Tickets and # brochures may be secured in the Church Social Hall adjacent to the church. Tree shaped markers will be in front of the homes open on the tour. Free refreshments at Church Social Hall. Tickets $2 for adults and $1 for children. Homes and buildings open for the tour are In Dennlsvilles State designated Historic District. Twelve buildings bill be open on tour. A floating Christmas Tree is now on Johnson’s Pond in Dennisville. People driving on Detoea Drive (Rt. 47) enjoy seeing the tree lighted at night. It is called the Community Tree.
