Kiwanis-Chamber Party A Success
CAPE MAY - Members of the Cape May Kiwants Club, Chamber of Commerce and the Lower Cape May Regional Key dub decorated Cape May Convention Hall and held a party for local youngsters December 14. An enthusiastic group of over 200 boys and girls enjoyed sodas and pretzels while being delighted by ‘Moldini. the Magnificient’ with a 30-minute magic act Complete witlr doves, rfebbits and a variety of optical illusions. Immediately following the magician, 30 lucky' children won an assortment of gifts including four new bicycles in Santa s Drawing. All the recipients
were warmly greeted by Santa Claus himself. The four bicycle winners were Kimberly Sacks, Scott Test, Michelle Brennan and Mike Brennan. The other gift recipients are as follows: Heather Bailey, Matthew Nelson Eric Axelsson, Moira Hawthorne, Heather Layton, Stacie Weeks, Heather Hoskins, Robert Yeager and Bryan Graw. Also, David Nelson. Denise Smith, Beth Ann Collier, Kia Allen, Jackie Angler, Heather Escher, Andy Souder, Mike Porter, Yolanda Robertson, Jennifer Smith, Raymond Skinner, Ricky Lundholm Billy Tester, Julie hedley and Peter Inler.

Candlelight Hours House Tour Planned In Cape May

CAPE MAY - A Condlelight House Tour will be held in this Historic area from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Dec. 29.
Eight gaily decorated houses will be open to the public for this charming, self-guided, holiday tour. The buildings range in dates from the 18th century to post World War II. Each home reflects the personality and decorating tastes of the individual owner. Buildings open for the tour will be marked by bright orange banners hanging outside. Tickets are 15 for adults, 11.50 for
children.
The Historic Emlen
Physlck House at 1048 Washington Street, is headquarters for the tour and will act as a reception center. While tickets and maps will be available at each house during the tour, the Physick House will be open in advance of the 6 p.m. starting time for people who wish to purchase tickets in advance. Cape May’s Victorian Museum with its fine collection of furnitare, clothing, toys and artifacts is located in the Physick House and will be part of the Candlelight Tour. The 16 room house will be festively decorated for the occasion. At the end of the
tour at 10 p.m., everyone is invited back to the Physick House for carolling and light refreshments until 11 p.m. A special exhibit of antique dolls will be an added feature in the museum to the traditional holiday decorations. Mrs. Margaret Haipak of North Cape May, is lending some of her extensive doll collection for this exciting feature. Sunday, Dec. 30 at Noon, a Walking Tour of Cape May's Primary Historic District will be given. The tour starts, at the information booth at the Mall on Ocean St.. For further information
