It's the annual Distinguished Service Award dinner, which this year coincides with the organization's 25th anniversary and the Outstanding Young Woman award will also be presented. This year's DSAwill go to a past member whose impact on the community, his family and church is seen as exemplifying the Jaycee way of involvement. A state senator, three mayors, county surrogate, and several municipal commissioners are among those who have been members of the Wildwood Jaycees. The Jan. 26 dinner begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. Yacht Cluber’s Reunion Feb. 2 DIAMOND BEACH - Avalon Yacht Club’s Midwinter Reunion will begin 7 p.m., Feb. 2 at the Holiday Inn. Dr ’‘Frank" Sweeney, chairman of this year' gala, has prescribed a lively night with large doses of everything from nostalgic tunes to rock from Cliff Koellmeier and his orchestra.
