Optimists Sponsor Sun. Night Bingo AVAI.ON - Each Sunday night at 7:30 at the Community Center here, the Middle Township Optimists will sponsor a bingo game. "It will take all 33 members to make it a success, and arrangements have been made to have 10 members on hand each Sunday night," notes club president Doug Griffin." Food will be sold and all money made by the club will be used in our programs to help the youth in our community ." The Optimists have a scholarship fund, and in the near future will sponsor an Oratorical contest for Middle Township High School students, and a spelling and math bee for elementary school children. In addition, the club sponsors bike safety citecks and programs, such as bringing Santa Claus to the Classified Resource Room Students in Elementary School 1 and 3. Middle Optimists meet 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Middle Diner in Court House. —Norman Gabriel
